About Taos
Jack and Joanne worked in Asia and have brought with them some very fresh and innovative dishes to tempt you. A starter to begin with is the Codfish Liver sourced from Denmark and served with red pepper, fetta cheese and sea coral, a plate with some lingering flavours. Their Sashimi platter is a lovely entrée, beautifully presented with a combination of fresh seafood. Bonitto Dobinmushi is another of their favourites, a soup made from Japanese seafood and Konbu (seaweed). For main courses the selection is excellent, try the Marinated Rack of Lamb elegantly presented with a mint sauce and sweet potato or another option is the HotStone Sizzling Steak, spicy marinated pieces of fillet presented on a hot plate.
They serve their meals with a wonderful berry flavoured tea which is refreshing and palette cleansing. Dishes are served on their unique pottery to give another dimension to your eating experience from their creative menu. Tao's have a set menu, $38 for lunch and $48 for dinner and there are plenty of options to choose from.
Tao's are fully licensed and have a good selection of quality wines at moderate prices or B.Y.O. Tao's is situated on Bulleen Road, Bulleen, just off the Eastern Freeway and there is plenty of on site parking.
They also specialize in business and private functions. Jack and Joanne would be happy to tend to your requirements. They have the capacity to cater for large or small functions and this would give you the opportunity to indulge in innovative cuisine.
